Pinnacle Behavioral Health delivers an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) aimed at teenagers aged 11-18 and emerging adults aged 18-25. We assist individuals facing emotional and anxiety challenges, as well as unproductive behaviors such as self-harm, school avoidance, suicidal thoughts, opposition, and other detrimental actions. Our emerging adult initiative focuses on supporting people in balancing educational, social, and professional obligations. Every program features in-depth DBT educational skills training, medication supervision by a board-certified psychiatrist for children, adolescents, and adults, customized treatment approaches adapted to the specific needs of each person and their family, and a round-the-clock crisis hotline. The hotline enables patients and families to contact familiar experts beyond program hours for crisis support, reducing risky behaviors, and avoiding hospital admissions.

Mission

Pinnacle Behavioral Health provides an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) designed for teenagers aged 11-18 and emerging adults aged 18-25. We support people dealing with emotional and anxiety conditions, along with unhelpful patterns like self-harm, avoidance of school, thoughts of suicide, resistance, and additional harmful actions. Our program for emerging adults emphasizes assisting individuals in managing the challenges of educational, social, and work-related responsibilities. All offerings include comprehensive DBT instructional skills development, medication oversight by a certified psychiatrist specializing in children, teens, and adults, personalized care strategies tailored to the distinct requirements of each individual and their family, and a 24/7 emergency assistance hotline. This hotline helps patients and families connect with trusted professionals outside scheduled times to handle emergencies, lessen harmful tendencies, and prevent the necessity for inpatient care.

Personal Statements

Pinnacle Behavioral Health IOP Initiative

Pinnacle Behavioral Health offers an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) tailored for teenagers aged 11-18 and emerging adults aged 18-25. We assist individuals grappling with emotional and anxiety issues, along with unproductive behaviors like self-harm, school avoidance, suicidal thoughts, defiance, and other harmful patterns. Our emerging adult services concentrate on helping participants navigate the demands of schooling, social interactions, and career duties. All services provide thorough DBT skills education, medication monitoring by a certified psychiatrist for children, teens, and adults, bespoke treatment plans aligned with the unique needs of each client and their family, and a 24/7 emergency support line. This line allows patients and families to reach out to known specialists outside of session times for crisis aid, minimizing destructive habits, and preventing the need for hospitalization.

Program Schedules and Involvement

At Pinnacle, we have three specialized programs available. The Middle and High School programs operate in the evenings from 5-8pm and occur 3 or 4 days per week, depending on the level. We view parental engagement as essential in these programs, as we are dedicated to offering compassion and assistance to all. The DBT techniques taught during sessions promote constructive shifts at home by enhancing dialogue, lessening disputes, and boosting understanding. The emerging adult program runs during the day and gathers three times weekly from 11am to 2pm. In addition to DBT techniques, we emphasize family dynamics and the strengthening of Executive Functions. We work alongside various support resources in our patients' lives, including educational settings, external therapists, and psychiatrists.
