Young patients of school age in our adolescent residential initiatives can pursue conventional schooling through The Village Academy, which is based at the Village Behavioral Health site. As a private academy, it receives approval from the Tennessee State Department of Education and accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). Our educational team consists of experienced administrators and committed, certified teachers licensed in areas including English, mathematics, social studies, and natural sciences. The Village Academy delivers remedial and adaptive education for students dealing with emotional issues or varied learning needs. Teachers partner with previous institutions, and every student participates in an evaluation to understand their scholastic demands, enabling us to develop customized academic plans. With its complete accreditation, learners can achieve all high school completion standards at our facility as needed.
